MetaCardz is the new item being dreamed up by some of our extremely talented and motivated artists, designers and programmers who have been involved in the crypto-sphere since 2016. In an increasingly packed industry, Our mission is to bring something new to the market. At Virtual Atlas we combine our creative skills with the blockchain to create unique products. We have a range of physical products on sale such as Crypto Playing Cards and 3D Tiles. What is metacardz?
Metacardz is a non fungible token NFT that focuses on bringing cutting edge and inspiring designs to the crypto marketplace using 3D technology. We have established a foothold in the industry and are looking to take it a step further with new and revolutionary ideas.
Each card was created with one purpose — to change the digital currency arena forever. We want to achieve this by completely disrupting the graphics used in the current cryptocurrency industry. Our designs aim to convey our own personal view on modern technology and financial freedom. We bridge the gap from art to collector immutably.
The design process
Visuals create common understanding, and tap into our ability as humans to make rapid calculations based on visual input.
We are here to push the boundaries on what cryptocurrency art can represent, the community we create will be the basis of our marketing strategy as we work together to make a real impact in the crypto space, through one collection of work that is designed by us. Our art collectors will not just HODL these tokens but have governance and ownership on future drops.
Metacardz is a project which aims to change the way people think and use their cryptocurrencies. Nowadays many users just don’t see the benefit or purpose of holding crypto, this is what we want to change. Our mission is to make 1000 collectors digital art millionaires before 2030. Bold statement, we know. But this is how;
We have reversed engineered the scarcity factor of 100 physical playing cards, why are they entertaining, what is the most common utility they provide, what drives scarcity and how does Pokemon drive demand year on year.
During our extensive research we found the patterns of collector psychology; Why we all collect things. Side note. Our founder started collecting ties at the age of 11 and has a collection of over 1000+ ties. 😂 We will ask him to count them all some day and tweet about it. What we found amazed us because it answered our natural curiosity as children collecting Pokemon and as adults chasing Bulbasaur down Oxford Street. We took it a step further by mutating this ethereal idea with the scarcity of Bitcoin and the blockchain.
Our cards will be minted in cycles. Each drop will be themed and include branded iconography to resemble a moment in time. We added this feature because we engineered our cards to withhold intrinsic value overtime. You will not only own a digital asset but have collective ownership of that moment in history.
In order order to drive scarcity and collectors resale value, the cards are numbered and have a set market cap per capita. If the assets minted are not sold within 10 days they will be burned and vaporise into the cryptographic stratosphere.
Now, once you buy a meta card, you own a piece of time, A rare asset that accrues value instantly after the cards are vaporised. Pretty cool right?
We do this for two reason, 1. this is a collectors item not a marketplace and 2. Less cards mean more demand.
When looking at a timeline, we understand the sequence of events plotted from left to right implies their chronological occurrence. Only collectors will know why and how we pick our release days, there is a science to that too.

So you buy an NFT what next?
Once you purchase your meta card depending on the rarity we will mint another physical token that will be shipped out to you by post. This will then enable you to physically showcase your artwork on your shelfs as well as having a digital asset you can display in the metaverse and digital frame.
You can also make a PROFIT by reselling your asset on any chosen marketplace. We have a maximum total supply on each card for this very reason. Scarcity drives value and that is what we are going to provide the community. We do withhold a percentage fee of our creation which is why we are incentivised to give our collectors the chance to make profits on their sales.
What is the metaverse? The metaverse is the universe of virtual worlds. Our mission is to enable a universally accessible, valuable and secure network for VR experiences and digital assets.
We are working towards creating a virtual strip on our acquired land so collectors can display their artwork and make sales to a wider audience.
